First Swim

About First Swim

Located at 10 The Plaza, Beacon South Quarter in Sandyford, Dublin 18, First Swim describes itself as Ireland's first purpose-built baby and toddler swim school, designed by parents for parents. Its own pool is heated to 33C, keeping the water comfortable for the youngest swimmers.

Classes are aimed at babies and toddlers aged 10 weeks to 3 years, led by certified instructors and structured around bonding, sensory play and building water confidence rather than formal stroke technique. Families have use of spacious changing rooms, ample buggy parking and an on-site cafe, making the whole visit easy to manage with a baby in tow.
