About Designer Minds - Thurles STEAM Summer Camp

Designer Minds runs its STEAM summer camp at Ursuline Convent Secondary School in Thurles, Co. Tipperary, for children aged 6-12, split into a Junior group (1st-3rd class) and a Senior group (4th-6th class).

Campers spend the week on hands-on science, technology, engineering, art and maths projects — building, experimenting and problem-solving as a group, aimed at kids who like to get their hands dirty rather than sit through lectures.

At €180 for the week, the Thurles camp is one of Designer Minds' more popular locations and has a track record of filling up, so parents interested in a place are advised to book ahead rather than leave it to the last minute.
