About DADA

DADA has been running drama classes from Grosvenor Road in Rathmines for 25 years, with Hilary Cahill leading a team of experienced teaching staff. Classes are open to children aged 3 to 18 and focus on building confidence and creativity in a safe, supportive environment.

Students get the chance to perform in DADA's annual show at the Civic Theatre, with recent productions including Oliver!, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Matilda and Bugsy Malone. More advanced students can also join 'Your Theatre', a group that stages its own productions at Smock Alley Theatre — past shows have included Into The Woods and The Secret Garden — giving older, more committed students a further step up in performance experience.
