About The Paddocks Riding Centre

The Paddocks Riding Centre, on Woodside Road in Sandyford, is a family-run yard set high in the Dublin Mountains with stables and facilities for a large number of horses.

As well as regular riding lessons for children, the centre offers one and two-hour treks through the surrounding mountains, giving young riders a chance to enjoy the scenery beyond the arena once they've built up some confidence in the saddle.

Horse riding is well known for building both physical coordination and a sense of responsibility, as children learn to care for and communicate with their horse or pony. The Paddocks also hosts birthday parties, making it an option for a horse-themed celebration as well as regular lessons.
