About The New School

The New School is a comprehensive music centre offering tuition across a broad range of instruments and subjects, combined with a number of programmes that reach beyond standard lessons.

Its Outreach Programme provides workshops and longer courses for young people and those with special needs, extending music education to groups who might not otherwise access it. The school is also behind the Waltons Music for Schools Competition, a national competition celebrating music-making in Irish schools.
