About The Extra Special Parent & Toddler Group
The Extra Special Parent & Toddler Group is a support and social group in Co. Leitrim for children with Down syndrome, aged from newborn up to seven, and their families. Over 40 families are involved, meeting to share experience, build friendships, and support each other at every stage.
Through the year the group organises a range of events and activities that bring members together, with a focus on inclusion, confidence and a sense of belonging for both children and parents. There is no charge to take part, and it's a welcoming space for any family in the area looking to connect with others on a similar journey.
