About Simply Science
Science, Shouting & Questionable Decisions
What happens when you take one scientist, a room full of families and a frankly irresponsible number of experiments?
You get Science, Shouting & Questionable Decisions – a live family science show where things fizz, fly, freeze, wobble, make strange noises and occasionally refuse to behave at all.
Join science communicator Phil Smyth for an hour of big experiments, ridiculous challenges and genuine science, as we investigate some of the important questions nobody else was brave enough to ask.
Can you trust your own brain? Can we make something fly using household objects? What happens when Phil makes a decision that seemed like a very good idea five minutes earlier?
Expect audience participation, scientific predictions, spectacular demonstrations and plenty of opportunities for children – and their grown-ups – to discover that getting something wrong can sometimes be the most interesting part of doing science.
It’s loud. It’s live. It’s science.
Some decisions may be questionable.
