About Santa's Holiday Residence at Golden Gate Cottage, Killarney
Santa's holiday residence for the Christmas in Killarney festival is the Golden Gate Cottage in Killarney National Park. Families follow a lit woodland path to the cottage, make their way through the elves' bedroom and have an unhurried, private visit with Santa in a firelit sitting room.
Every child on the Nice List gets a certificate and a handcrafted gift, and the visit lasts about 20 minutes inside. Standard buggies are left in a buggy park, while adapted buggies and mobility aids are accommodated. All proceeds go to the festival; see its website for 2026 dates.
