About Rathanna Parent & Toddler Group/ Walking Group Carlow

Rathanna Parent & Toddler Group meets every Thursday during the school term, 9.30 to 11.30am, in Rathanna Community Hall. It's a relaxed, come-and-go session for parents, grandparents or childminders with children from newborn to preschool age - families can arrive and leave whenever suits, with everyone pitching in to tidy up in the last five to ten minutes.

The hall is set up with plenty to keep young children busy, including ride-on cars and tractors, prams, Lego, trains, a ball pit and a soft play area on protective mats. Changing facilities are also available.

The group also runs a parents' walking group at certain times of year, covering the 5.4km Rathanna Slí na Sláinte route (weather permitting). Cost is €3 per family; contact 0857074738 for details.
