Outdoor Playgroup for toddlers to 10 years - Down to Earth

About Outdoor Playgroup for toddlers to 10 years - Down to Earth

Run by Down to Earth Forest School at Brigit's Garden in Pollagh, Rosscahil, Co. Galway, this outdoor programme gets children outside in all seasons rather than in a classroom. Little Twigs is the parent-and-toddler strand, for babies up to preschool age, with free play, crafts, stories, songs, a mud kitchen and a campfire, usually on Wednesdays from 10 to 11.30am.

Older children aged 5 to 10 can join Woodland Wildlings, held the same day from 3 to 5pm, building on the same woodland setting with games, seasonal crafts, bushcraft skills, campfire time and foraging. Both groups sign up by term rather than drop-in, at €90 for a 6-week term (€75 for siblings). Check the Down to Earth Galway social pages for current dates, or email downtoearthgalway@gmail.com.
