Once Upon a...Fairytale

About Once Upon a...Fairytale

Once Upon a...Fairytale is an interactive craft workshop for children aged 7 to 12, led by illustrator Lauren O'Hara, whose work has been published by Macmillan, Puffin, Penguin Random House USA, Thames and Hudson and Walker Books. The session includes a read-along of her book Once Upon a... Fairytale, a step-by-step drawing lesson on how to sketch a Puss in Boots character, and the chance for children to invent their own story for Lauren to illustrate.

The workshop wraps up with kids crafting their own fairytale hero to take home — a good fit for creative children who love stories, drawing and imaginative play. It takes place at Axis Ballymun, Main Street, Ballymun, Dublin 9, with tickets priced at €12. Check the venue's website for upcoming dates.
