About Malahide Musical & Dramatic Society

Malahide Musical & Dramatic Society (MMDS) has been staging musicals, plays and concerts at Malahide Community School, Co. Dublin since 1976, when it grew out of Malahide Sports & Recreation Committee. The society's first production, The Quaker Girl, took to the same stage in November 1977.

Since then MMDS has continued to grow, putting on musicals, plays and various performances each year with an expanding group of members. It offers a long-standing, community-based route into musical theatre and drama for those in the Malahide area, whether performing on stage or getting involved behind the scenes.
