About Leithinis Donabate Portrane CCÉ

Leithinis Donabate Portrane CCÉ (Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann) runs Irish traditional music classes on Monday evenings at Donabate Portrane Educate Together National School, Co. Dublin.

Children can learn a range of traditional instruments including whistle, flute, fiddle, banjo and bodhrán, among others, taught within the Comhaltas tradition of passing on Irish music through group tuition.

As a branch of the national Comhaltas organisation, it connects children to the wider community of Irish traditional music in Ireland, beyond just the weekly class itself.
