About Downstrands Parent, Baby and Toddler Group
Run by Downstrands Family Resource Centre, this parent, baby and toddler group meets every Friday from 10.30am to noon at The Dolmen Centre in Kilclooney, Portnoo, County Donegal, for €2 per family - a friendly, volunteer-led session for babies and toddlers to socialise while parents chat.
The same centre also runs a popular 5-week Baby Massage course for babies from six weeks to pre-crawler stage, and a 6-week Mums and Bubs Pilates course aimed at rebuilding core strength while bonding with baby - both good ways to meet other new parents locally. Check the centre's Facebook page (contact downstrandsfrc@yahoo.ie) for upcoming course dates.
