For decades this seafront amusement park in the heart of Portrush was known as Barry's Amusements, a Causeway Coast institution with a wooden roller coaster and classic fairground rides. The site was sold for redevelopment in 2021, and in April 2022 it reopened under a long-term lease as Curry's Fun Park, run by the Curry family who also operate Curry's Fun Park in Salthill, Galway. Families will still find a lively strip of amusement rides, dodgems and arcade games right on Eglinton Street, a short walk from Portrush's beaches and the harbour. Tickets are sold in bundles rather than a single admission price, with rides typically costing a few tickets each, so a visit can be tailored to a family's budget by buying more or fewer. The park opens daily from midday, making it an easy stop during a day trip to the North Coast alongside Royal Portrush and the West Strand.
