Clontarf Children’s Choir / Pre Instrumental Music

About Clontarf Children’s Choir / Pre Instrumental Music

McDermott Music, based in Clontarf, Dublin, offers Kodály-inspired early years music classes plus two choirs: the Clontarf Children's Choir (ages 7-12) and the Clontarf Youth Choir (ages 12-18). The programme was founded by qualified primary teacher and music educator Lauraine McDermott.

There are no auditions - the focus is on building confidence, musicianship and lasting friendships through singing, with performances and collaborations giving children a strong sense of community as they grow as young musicians.
