Cavan Academy of Music - Early Years

About Cavan Academy of Music - Early Years

Cavan Academy of Music's Early Years programme offers Kindergarten Music classes for children from 3 months up to age 6, alongside a Suzuki Method group violin class for 4 to 5 year olds. Teaching draws on the Kodály and Dalcroze methods, two well-established approaches to early music education that build musicality through singing, movement and rhythm before formal notation is introduced.

Having both a general music class and an instrument-specific violin option means families can choose broad musical exposure for younger children or start their child on an instrument slightly earlier through the Suzuki approach.
