About Cabinteely GAA

Cabinteely GAA has been part of the local community since 1977, based at Kilbogget Park and drawing players from Cabinteely, Johnstown, Cherrywood, Ballybrack, Loughlinstown and Killiney. Gaelic football and hurling/camogie are open to boys and girls of all ages, with a dedicated Academy giving younger children a gentle, skills-focused introduction to Gaelic games.

Academy football sessions run on Saturdays at 9am, while hurling and camogie take place on Thursdays at 6pm. From age 7, children move up into age-group teams that train weekly and play in Go Games, a development-focused format designed to keep matches inclusive and balanced rather than results-driven.
