About Athy Comhaltas - Irish Traditional Music Lessons

Athy Comhaltas runs Irish traditional music lessons on Tuesdays from September to May at Ardscoil na Trionoide, teaching instruments including tin whistle, fiddle, accordion, banjo and uilleann pipes. As part of the Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann network, the classes connect children into a wider community of traditional Irish music beyond just weekly lessons.

With several instrument options taught, families can choose based on a child's interest, and the September-to-May term structure follows the school year, giving a natural rhythm for building skills over each academic year.
