About Ashbourne Library Parent, Baby and Toddler Group
Ashbourne Library, on The Square in Killegland, runs a Parent and Toddler Group every Wednesday from 10.30 to 11.30am during school term, built around stories and rhymes that build early literacy skills while children mix with their peers. It's free, and parents, carers and grandparents are equally welcome - contact Jennifer on 01 83558185 for term dates.
The library also hosts Magic Tummy Time on Fridays (10-11am and 11am-12pm) for babies who haven't started crawling yet, who play beneath the light projections of the interactive Tovertafel table while parents browse books on babies and parenting. Free, but booking is essential as spaces are limited.
Both groups may be rescheduled during school holidays.
