Abbeyleix Library - Baby & Toddler Group / Kids Chess Club

About Abbeyleix Library - Baby & Toddler Group / Kids Chess Club

Abbeyleix Library on Main Street runs two free weekly groups for local families: a baby and toddler book club and a junior chess club, alongside pop-up events tied to school holidays.

Abbey Babbies Baby Book Club meets every Friday from 10.30 to 11.30am, giving babies and toddlers a chance to hear stories, borrow books and meet other families. Junior Chess Club runs every Saturday from 10am for children who enjoy testing their logic against other young players.

Both are free to attend, though it's worth confirming dates around school holidays with the library on 057 8730020 or abbeyleixlibrary@laoiscoco.ie.
