Maudlintown Parent, Baby and Toddler Group

Maudlintown Parent, Baby and Toddler Group, Wexford, is hosted by Southend Family Resource Centre. The aim of the group is to provide a space for parents to come together in an informal and supportive environment, away from their own four walls, while allowing the little ones to play safely together and do some socialising of their own. The group is available for anyone in the area looking after little ones - mums, dads, grandparents, aunties. There is a weekly activity for the toddlers, e.g. painting, puppet making, baking, and weather permitting we play outdoors. We also provide healthy snacks for the children, and tea and coffee for the adults. As parents, we all support each other informally over a cuppa, as well as find out information on courses, training, parenting issues etc. available at the centre and elsewhere. Location: Southend Family Resource Centre, Hantoon Road in Maudlintown, Wexford, at the junction with Gulbar Road (just off Maudlintown Green/Playground and opposite the Senator Windows). Day/Time: every Thursday, 9.30-11.30am (during school term time). Cost: €2 per family (voluntary contribution). Contact: Siobhan, 087 7633002.
