Watch House Cross Community Library in Limerick has great activities on offer for families, and best of all, they're free. Below are some of the regular activities, but make sure to stay up to date with the library during school holidays, as there are usually fun activities organised. Location: Watch House Cross Shopping Centre, Moyross, Limerick. Contact: watchhousecrosslibrary@limerick.ie. Parent and Toddler Group: parents, grandparents, caregivers, all welcome - a great opportunity to meet and chat with other adults while babies and toddlers play together with a lovely collection of toys, teddies, building bricks, games, board books and more. Library staff pop in around 11am for nursery rhyme fun. New members always welcome. Time: every Friday, 10.30am-12pm (during school term time). Cost: free. Storytime: suitable for ages 2-6 years - listen and relax as library staff select and read some lovely stories. All welcome. Time: every Thursday, 4pm. Cost: free. Arts & Crafts: a fresh set of craft materials is provided - collect your art materials from the library desk and make something to take home, display in the library, or both. This is a self-guided activity, so children must be accompanied and assisted by their grown-up. Time: every Saturday afternoon, drop in anytime between 11am and 4pm. Cost: free.
