Ennistymon has a number of baby and child-friendly activities hosted by the North West Clare Family Resource Centre. Contact: info@northwestclarefrc.ie. Location: North West Clare Family Resource Centre, Parliament Street, Ennistymon, Co. Clare, V95 NX86. Parent and Toddler Group, also known as 'Cairde Nua' (New Friends), welcomes mums, dads and childminders to attend with their baby to preschooler for a fun-filled morning - a great place to chat and meet new people while the kids play. Contact the centre to join. Day/Time: every Friday, 9.30am-12pm. Cost: €3 per family. Breastfeeding Group: a welcoming space for breastfeeding mums to meet up and chat with babies. Contact the centre to join. Day/Time: every 2nd Friday, 11am-12pm. Cost: free. Baby Massage: suitable for babies from 6 weeks to 6 months, a great bonding experience with your baby which has many other benefits. This activity runs in terms, so days and times might change - speak to the centre to sign up for the next term. Cost: €50 for 5 weeks. Traveller Playgroup: every Tuesday, 11.30am-1pm. Cost: free. The centre offers many other activities for older children and teens, many of which are in high demand, so reach out to the centre to be added to the waiting list: Football Group, Kids Club, Homework Clubs, Youth Club, Traveller Teen Girls Group, Cultural Teen Club, and Teen Club.
